Central Hudson delivers natural gas and electricity in a defined service territory that extends from the suburbs of metropolitan New York City north to the Capital District at Albany.

OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

New developments to our innovation approach that are better aligned with our business strategy will produce more impactful benefits for our customers and other stakeholders.  Several innovations surround our grid modernization efforts and increased interconnections on our electric transmission and distribution systems. The increase of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and the push for clean energy across New York State (NYS) provide Central Hudson with potential opportunities for growth in the transmission and distribution space.
